How To Celebrate Ganesh Utsav
The 10-day festival of Ganesh Utsav 2023 is marked by the decoration of Ganpati idols, prayers in private homes and public temples, the Ganesh visarjan aarti, and other customs.
The 10 days will look like this:
Day 1: Praying and presenting clay idols to welcome Lord Ganesha
The installation of Lord Ganesha’s idol in residences or public pandals (temporary constructions) and prayer offerings mark the start of Ganesh visarjan. Devotees choose clay idols based on where they are stored from stalls in the market that sell them in a variety of sizes.
