Ayudha Pooja is celebrated on the ninth day of Navratri. It is assumed that God is present in all the materials/things or types of equipment used in day-to-day life.
Hence this pooja is performed by decorating all the types of equipment with Santhanam, Kumkum, and flowers and then performing Ganapathy and a Lakshmi pooja for all the types of equipment to have a long-lasting life and is used effectively.
